Graeme is the Financial Director of Wright, Rose-Innes Inc and in that capacity deals with all financial aspects of the firm, including budgeting and compliance. A large percentage of his legal practice relates to matters of a corporate and commercial nature, both in an advisory and commercial drafting capacity.
Graeme also has a large and well-established litigation and dispute resolution practice.
Graeme completed a B.Com undergraduate degree in 1989, and thereafter a post graduate LLB degree in 1991, both at the University of Witwatersrand, and more recently obtained a Certificate in Financial Management from the University of Johannesburg in 2003.
Graeme commenced employment at Wright, Rose-Innes in January 1992 as a Candidate Attorney, until his admission as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1994.
Graeme thereafter continued employment as an associate attorney and in 1995 he was appointed as the youngest ever director of Wright, Rose-Innes Inc. Graeme also qualified and was admitted as a Conveyancer in 1995.
Graeme has formed many long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with numerous corporate and individual clients over the years, due to the efficient manner in which he deals with legal matters. Graeme always seeks to provide his clients with the best possible practical and sensible solutions within the legal framework applicable. He strongly believes in the importance of knowing his clients’ business models, policies, and methodologies to enable him to provide appropriate advice.
Graeme is a highly self-motivated and self-disciplined person, not only in the works sphere, but also in his private life. Over the years Graeme has excelled in squash, triathlon, duathlon and cycling, and has been selected for a number of provincial and national age group teams. He has completed 8 Comrades marathons, 2 full Iron Man Triathlons and numerous other ultra marathons, half Iron Man Triathlons and cycling events.
Graeme is a committed family man, whose wife, Reneé, is currently the Managing Director of Wright, Rose-Innes Inc. Together with their 2 adult daughters, they enjoy travelling locally and abroad, in particular hiking in the mountains and experiencing wildlife in its natural habitat.
